ECE contract Shopecentre to launch 35 new Online Shopping Centre's within Germany

Shopecentre have been awarded the contract by ECE to launch 35 Online Shopping Centre's throughout Germany. The Property Development and Centre Management Giants are working closely with Shopecentre to launch these brand new sites, first of which was launched in August 2006. http://www.mein-center.de/rhein-center/
From there Shopecentre will be launching another eight Online Shopping Centres by end of September and completing launch of all by end 2006.

Channel 6 - Irelands brand new television station launches their exciting new Content website with the help of Shopecentre

Shopecentre are pleased to announce the launch of the brand new Channel 6 website. The website launch took place April of this year.

Channel 6 is Ireland's first dedicated entertainment channel. Aimed at the under 35s the station is exclusive to NTL and Chorus Analogue and Digital. Channel 6 will provide an exciting mix of movies, drama series, music, comedy and will promote locally grown Irish talent through home produced programming.

Channel 6 will aggressively advertise throughout launch year with a very substantial multi-platformed campaign designed to raise awareness of the station and direct viewers to particular shows and themed nights. This campaign will be advertised at weights previously unheard of in Ireland for a TV station.

Channel 6 will be airing both acquired programming and commissioning domestic produced content all designed to appeal to our core audience of Adults 15-34. With deals signed with most of the US studios there is an excellent mix of movies, new series to Irish TV and reruns of favourite series - pure entertainment.

Online Sales in UK Experience Double-digit Growth By Jeff Miller Posted: 8/31/2006

The Interactive Media in Retail Group, which tracks online spending, concludes that Internet sales in the United Kingdom are clicking ahead in 2006 -- 10 times the rate of brick-and-mortar sales increases so far. Online July sales rose 35 percent from 2005 to $4.44 billion (GBP2.33 billion.)

Online retail accounts for 10 percent of all retail sales in Great Britain and could increase to 25 percent of all spending by year 2010 if current growth rates were maintained. As a comparison, Forrester Research estimates online retail sales to reach 12-15 percent of total retail sales by year 2010 in the United States.

According to credit information group Experian those consumers most likely to shop online are short on time and are top earning professionals who value the convenience of online shopping.

Shopecentre Presentation to ECE Retailer Conference in Germany

Shopecentre presented Online Store solutions to 400 German retailers and launched the new German Online Shopping Portal, Rhein-Center Cologne, Germany (www.mein-center.de/rhein-center) as part of the Annual ECE Retail Meeting 2006 in Duesseldorf, Germany on August 30th.

Online Shopping as a way to generate further business was one of the wide area of topics ranging from ways of attracting new target groups such as senior citizens, being charismatic in sales and the unveiling of new German and European ECE Shopping Centre projects. Speakers include the Lord Mayors of Duesseldorf and Essen, Alexander Otto, ECE Chairman, Directors of ECE, as well as selected retailer representatives such as Heinrich Otto Deichmann of the Deichmann Gruppe, Abram Nette of Karstadt Warenhaus AG and Christian Mielke of Starbucks.
