Essential Skills

HTML/XHTML, CSS, Flash, JavaScript. Working knowledge of PHP and SQL.

I have eight years' experience as a web designer. As senior designer I have managed projects and staff; frequently liaising with clients on design and functionality. I am proficient with hand-coding and use graphics editing software on a daily basis. My HTML work is CSS driven and I aim towards W3C standards. I am skilled in Flash animation with an intermediate level of ActionScripting. I have an excellent knowledge Windows, Linux and Mac OS.

Acrobat, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash, GoLive, Homesite, Illustrator, Lotus Notes, Office, PhotoShop, QuarkXPress, QuicktimeVR, Swish, Toad, Toon Boom, TopStyle.

Personal Attributes

I work well under pressure, have good interpersonal skills, an aptitude for independent project work and can often find alternative solutions to problems.

Additional Skills & Interests

I have a full UK driving licence.
I am a competent musician and artist and have some experience with audio and video editing software.
My interests include: photography, gardening, environmentalism, evolution studies, music and film.
