Channel 6
"Channel 6 is Ireland's first dedicated entertainment channel. Aimed at the under 35s the station is exclusive to NTL and Chorus Analogue and Digital. Channel 6 will provide an exciting mix of movies, drama series, music, comedy and will promote locally grown Irish talent through home produced programming."
The site I designed was created following the company's branding
guidelines, but the layout and functionality was our initiative. I
played a key role in deciding on the site's functionality. It was the
responsibility of myself and my assistant to create the bulk of the
graphics and Flash animation used within the site.
Most of the site's content is driven from a SQL database, which is updated through a CMS we also created.
N.B. The channel 6 site has been re-designed since I worked on the project. However I have replicated some of the pages of the original Channel 6 site (based on the HTML templates I initially created).
